Description
This is a communicative course for all those who would like to boost their English speaking skills for their education and professional growth.
"Communication Studio: Boost Your English for Professional Growth and Education" was launched on a request coming from the academicians and students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine) to create a program as an opportunity to boost students' English speaking skills.
Following our previous successful program "Speak Up Internationally!", the Communication Studio was developed according to the principles of project-based learning, collaborative and communicative approaches to teaching and interaction within the course.
The main theme of the program "Social Responsibility in Life and at Work" defined the content of the program, the area of the students' projects and topics of the discussion at the Studio's sessions.
Apart from the thematic development, the students were exposed to the experience which go along with the tasks and assignments of IELTS Exam.
Such an approach allowed to bring the participants of the program to one more step ahed for enhancing their English competences according to the international standards and requirements.
It happened so that during the course, the students not only mastered their speaking skills but also learned how to collaborate, be respectful and tolerant to different points of view, how to come to the mutual point and continue work together despite the differences and discrepancies in visions and attitudes.
